At the heart of this research specialisation are the preservation of production resources and sustainable bio-based management, in which environmental protection and the energy transition play a key role. Smart technological solutions aim to improve resource efficiency and climate protection, based on sustainable ecological systems.
The Faculty of Resource Management at the HAWK University of Applied Sciences and Arts has designated the research specialisation “Green Engineering and Ecosystems” as one of its research units. The Academic Advisory Commission of Lower Saxony ranks Faculty of Resource Management in Göttingen among the three strongest university of applied sciences faculties in the state in terms of research.
